Smokeshifters
 

Smokeshifters, a five piece Rock’d up R&B powerhouse out of Annandale, NJ, founded in 2008, is
beginning to be heard in and around the NJ/PA/NY area. Their innovative and unique style and approach
to the classics has grown to be a favorite among listeners of all ages.                                                      

         Collectively, Smokeshifters has performed with legendary recording artists Levon Helm and Rick Danko
     of The Band and Bernie Worrell; and had the pleasure of sharing the stage/recording with two-time Grammy
          Nominee John Ginty (Santana, Ryan Adams, Citizen Cope, Robert Randolph, Blind Boys of Alabama, Jewel).        

         Members of Smokeshifters have years of stage experience. Together, they have been members of various
NJ based acts (Fat Man in the Tub, The Shaft, Angus, Hennessy/Lee Project, 13th Hour, Trouble Boys,   
     Rocky and His Friends, High Roller, Geerbox and Big Daddy & the Wildcats) and have contributed to many    
recordings by NJ based artists (Joe Stuby and Rocking Horse, Caren Kennedy, Christine Martucci and    
Angus). Bill Brain is a founding member, guitarist, keyboardist, and vocalist of Cairo, one of the longest    
 running and most popular bands in the area.
